GER and EGEO International win their first pre-feasibility study in France
We are pleased to announce that GER SA, together with its partners in the EGEO International Joint Development Agreement, E.GEO Italia and Planeto SA, has been awarded its first pre-feasibility study in France. The client is a major French construction company, and the project is a large school complex and gymnasium in the Paris region.
The project will use an open-loop ground-source heat pump (GSHP) system, drawing on groundwater to provide both heating and cooling.
Our study will:
- analyse the building’s architectural characteristics and energy needs;
- propose a range of technical solutions, with their investment requirements and their financial and environmental benefits;
- compare these solutions with conventional fossil-fuel boilers, including projected future energy costs and the impact on operating expenses (OPEX).
This first mandate in France marks an important step for EGEO International and shows the growing interest in low-carbon geothermal solutions for large public buildings.
